Lockdown in Assam

Lockdown in Assam
Some reviews regarding lockdown period in Assam
Since the nationwide lockdown for 21 days was announced on 22nd March 2020 which is to end on 14th April 2020, it was observed that-
Lockdown was not total in all places of the state of Assam, probably due to negligent of few persons who was not acquainted with such situations earlier.
There are some people who do not have the habit of staying at home continuously. They always have the habit of going out of their homes at least once.
There are some who intentionally want to defy the government orders.
There are also some people who go out in search of food items, medicines, etc.
Some people who are addicted and have the habit of taking tobacco and alcohols also goes out in search of it.
But it was seen that inspite of the lockdown fresh cases of Covid-19 affected persons are on the rise. The rise has been gradual and has been increasing every day and lockdown also is nearing to end since today is 11th April and it was suppose to end on 14th April 2020. The Prime Minister of our country is arranging a video conferencing on 11th April with the Chief Ministers of the states to take decision for extending the period of lockdown. States like Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan have already taken decision regarding extension of lockdown till 31st April, 2020. I would also suggest that the period of lockdown in the state of Assam is to be extended.
The sanitization programme as envisaged by the state government is not good enough since all markets places, shopping malls, public streets along with railings by the pavement etc. in every nook and corner of the state are yet to be sanitized. The govt. should involved the concerned persons from the concerned wards along with Municipal Corporation authorities to execute the programme.
Moreover the govt. should take measures in a ruthless way as set by Bhilwara district of Rajasthan which should be the model for every district. The govt. should engaged medical and healthcare persons to check each and every house in the state for Covid-19 cases and take immediate measures if found to be positive and mass sanitization of public places should be taken on a daily basis. I hope if such measures could be chalked out then the state could get rid of Coronavirus.
India now occupies the top position among the countries in containing coronavirus. The number of affected persons, fresh cases of Covid-19, number of deaths are low as compared to other countries. But things cannot be taken for granted. We can only be free from the virus when no death or cases of affected persons are reporting.
Now the govt. has also launched an app in the form of Aarogya Setu which can be downloaded and install from Google Playstore wherein the user of this app. can be alerted previously if he comes in contact with any coronavirus related persons. If such is the case and he or she can previously take steps to quarantine himself or herself. I think this app has something to do with detecting the Covid-19 cases and I therefore suggest each and every persons to download and register themselves and thus contribute to curtail the virus affecting persons to some extent.
